2012 Summer Camps and Intensives
Disney Princess and Pop Star Dance Camp
Ages 3-6 July 16-20 or July 23-27 9:30-12:30 PM
Come dressed as your favorite princess or pop star. Your little princess or diva will dance to all of their favorite princess and pop star hits, sing, play games and participate in an arts and crafts each day.
"Glee" Kids Camp
Ages 7-12 July 16-20 or July 23-27 9:30-12:30 PM
Learn to be a singing, dancing and acting sensation!! Your up and coming star will receive classes in dance, voice and drama as well as have a fashion, hair and make-up lesson and design their own costume for the showcase at the end of the week.
All of our camps are beginner friendly. Each camp will end the week in a pizza party and mini performance for family and friends. Light snacks will be provided each day. The fee for each camp is $160.00. A separate non-refundable $25.00 registration fee and 50% deposit is required to hold your child's place in the camp. The camp fee balance is due two weeks prior to the start of the camp. Payments may be mailed in or dropped off at the studio.
Register for more than one camp and receive a 10% discount on the additional camp!
What to wear to the dance camps?
You may wear a princess or pop star costume for the Disney Princess and Pop Star camps with loose fitting clothes worn underneath or leotard and tights, ballet shoes or socks. For the "Glee" Kids camp you may wear loose fitting clothes or leotard, boy shorts and tights, jazz shoes, tennis shoes or socks.
FOCUS Summer Dance Intensive
July 9 - 26 Monday - Thursday from 3:30 - 6:30 PM
FOCUS is three weeks of motivation, inspiration and challenges for the serious dancer looking to improve their dance technique, skills and movement. The FOCUS Dance Intensive, with over 35 hours of instruction, focuses on improving the dancers foundation with the disciplines of jazz, tap, jazz technique, ballet, floor barre, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, leaps, turns, stretch and conditioning, as well as classes from special guest artists and optional add-on classes!
FOCUS Summer Dance Intensive has three challenging levels; Junior Intermediate for ages 7-11, Intermediate Advanced for ages 12-15 and Adanced Pro for ages 16 and up. The FOCUS Summer Dance Intensive is $399.00 for all three weeks. Can't make all three weeks? FOCUS for two weeks is $299.00 and for only one week is $189.00.
FOCUS is required to audition for the Body Expressions Dance Company. Interested in learning more about the Body Expressions Dance Company? Please give us a call and we will be happy to discuss your child's dance education.

FOCUS Scholarship Auditions
We will be holding a scholarship audition during the last week of FOCUS. Scholarships will be given out for tuition for the upcoming fall session!! Each scholarship given is valued at over $500.00 each. However, you must be present for all three weeks of FOCUS to qualify for the scholarship. Details will be given out during the first week of FOCUS.
Optional Add-On Classes
Each Tuesday of FOCUS from 6:30-7:15 PM will be an optional 45 minute Ballet Variations class for ages 12 and up in which students will learn choreography from famous classical ballet solo dances from principal roles of legendary full-length ballets. The Ballet Variations class is an additional $45.00
Each Thursday of FOCUS from 6:30-7:15 PM there will be an optional 45 minute Pointe class for ages 12 and up offered to existing pointe students or to interested students with previous pointe experience, following an evaluation. The Pointe class is an additional $45.00
What to wear to FOCUS?
For ballet classes all dancers must wear a solid black leotard, Cazezio ballet pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Hair must also be in a secure bun. All other classes (except for hip-hop) you may wear any color leotard, sports bra top, and boy shorts with jazz shoes or Capezio foot undeez. For hip-hop classes you may wear any loose fitting clothes along with tennis shoes.
