Performing in all aspects of a high quality production is an important part of the art of performing. Because we strongly believe this, we invest a large amount of energy and resources into making our annual recital a real theatrical experience for our students. Body Expressions is the only studio on the Northshore to hold our recital in a professional theater which is able to accommodate the size of our studio and has the sound and lighting systems and technicians that are essential to a quality theatrical production.Participation in the recital is optional. However, we strongly encourage all students to participate in the production. We believe that performing is an important component of your child's dance education. The preparation of the production, the teamwork, and the art of performing in front of an audience are essential to the experience of dance.
